Last.FM's reporting started fresh today for the next week, so I decided that instead of just listening to playlists or stations tied to songs, I am only going to listen to complete albums for the next week. This sounds simple, but this is an incredibly difficult task for me. There aren't very many albums that I love enough to listen to everything without skipping a track. Even one of my favorites, Disraeli Gears, has a track I don't really care for: "Sunshine of Your Love."
I've queued up the following albums to get me through the workday:
- Disraeli Gears by Cream (1967)
- Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppelin (1973)
- My Generation by the Who (1965)
- Rubber Soul by the Beatles (1965)
- Muswell Hillbillies by the Kinks (1971)
- Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park (2000)
- Enema of the State by blink-182 (1999)
- Keasbey Nights by Catch 22 (1998)
- Sticks and Stones by New Found Glory (2002)
Unsurprisingly, all the old stuff is English and all the newer stuff is from my middle school years. It's not all my favorites, I listened to Led Zeppelin II and all 3 Sublime albums yesterday, and Axis: Bold as Love a few days ago. Those will come later in the rotation.
